Description: Twelve models in package: one each cab-end leading and one number two end (flat end) leading.
  • 4422 Tuscan PTC NSW;
  • 4424 Reverse Tuscan PTC NSW;
  • 4429 Tuscan as delivered NSWGR;
  • 4470 SRANSW Red;
  • 4489 SRANSW Red Terror;
  • 4496 SRANSW Candy;
These models contain enhanced friction, braking and resistance parameters by team-ALCO, specifically by Ian Bowles.

Additional Files required:
  1. You will need to download and install the "44/442/930 Alco Sound Set (DL500)" available from the sound-set page.
     
  2. You will need to download and install the Ver 2 DL500 cabview available from the Cabview page.
     
  3. The horn is aliased to the SD40-2 diesel provided with the MSTS 1.2 content upgrade. The SD40-2 is available from MSTS Update page.
Additional tasks required:
  1. Run the installer.   A light engine consist will be installed for each locomotive.
     
  2. You will need to create a consist to use these locos in other trains.  Click here for a tutorial on building up your own consists.
     
  3. Please note: these locos use the custom 930 class shape that Diego Rivera created exclusively for team-ALCO. A 44 class shape was also created but is corrupt and we are unable to contact Diego at the moment to organise a replacement.

    We have had some of the MSTS community's greatest minds trying to "untangle" this .S file, but unfortunately it's been written in GMAX, which tends to create far too many triangles and vertices in the .s file which can lead to these problems.

    We have therefore decided to release the 44s with the 930 shape and will offer a shape file update/patch when a more correct shape file arrives.
